Great food, great ambience lovely views!

Between the service and the food, I don't think, I have had any better. The food was great and the service was the best, thanks to our waiter Frank. We had a table by the window over looking the lake. Great view. Great atmosphere. Made my wife's birthday very special, thank you Lake View House!!!

Aug 10...love this place. Good menu selections, plus lots of daily specials. Ample choices of wines, beer, and full service bar. Pricing similar to other upscale restaurants. Friendly service, not rushed. Nice views with outdoor seating and no insects.

All I can say is WOW!! We left the ny air show and were starving looking for a place to eat. We googled restaurants near me and found this place with some pretty amazing reviews. Well...... what a place!! Amazing food, amazing service!! We will be back!!

This is one of the best restaurants around by far! Never had a bad meal at this place and the service it top notch!

If your under 45 I do not recommend going. The view is beautiful but we weren’t pleased on how we were treated for being a young couple. Literally took our whole dinning experience 2hrs for a place that wasn’t busy and we started around 6ish. Food prices are very different then online menu. When asked for food to be wrapped that alone took about 20mins with not even our waiter. Steak was very blend as if had no seasoning. The only good part of our meal was the bread and butter that was served in the beginning.

My wife and I went on a very busy Saturday evening. We were not even acknowledged when we arrived and waited about 10 minutes just for someone to say hello and ask for our names. The other reviews I read for this place were excellent in all areas while I found it all to be poor/ok. The food was ok the service was ok and the atmosphere was ok. We sat directly in front of the kitchen door that kept swinging open, and the kitchen was disgusting! I had to stop looking. I have a background in food service, food safety, and training and seeing the kitchen really bothered me. Watching the wait staff make the coffee get the waters and prepare the desserts was also not the most sanitary. Maybe I'm being overly picky but to me food safety equals the health of your customers. So I don't think I will be returning.

Service was awesome from the Greeter to the Waiter. Ambiance absolutely beautiful! Atmosphere very cozy. The menu has large selection with variety of choices and the food was fresh and delicious! This was my first visit. I will go back. 👍

Enjoyed my 60th birthday here with family and friends.Sat outside on one of the hottest days of summer and enjoyed watching the boats and Jet Skis play while the sun set.I enjoyed my swordfish special as well as my delicious Manhattan.Will definitely come back.

I haven't been to Lakeview House in awhile, however tonight was alright. The food was a little oily but ok. Long story short they are doing a good job with service but food could've been a little bit better.

Came here yesterday as the patio and “lawn” area are now open for dining. Great ambiance with terrific views, the Gorgonzola crusted filet was out of this world, and the service was on point. I defiantly recommend calling for reservations however since dining inside is currently not allowed during Phase 2 and the place was very busy for our 5:15pm reservation. 5 stars !

We came here for the first time and we absolutely loved it! The food was absolutely delicious and we ate outside on the patio overlooking the lake at sunset. The sunset was as magnificent as the food. We will be returning. A lot.

Food is wonderful, delicious, and prices are reasonable. The view of the lake adds so much to the ambiance.

We went to dinner for my 25th anniversary and I was extremely pleased with our food. Our waiter Trevor was amazing. Very attentive even though he was very busy. All of our food was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Loved the view of the lake. It is a tad dark and a bit dated in the restaurant but the food more than makes up for it. I would and will eat here again.

The restaurant has a lovely view of Orange Lake. The food was okay. We had a better meal the last time we were here, so maybe we chose the wrong dishes this time. The frozen strawberry lemonade was delicious!! The cheesecake was very good. Our waitress was fantastic! She was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

A pleasant evening with my better half. We arrived to a packed house. The food was great and our waitress was the tops. From the moment we arrived the staff was attentive always there to replenish water and see to our needs. The sheer number of specials is mind boggling. How you can change that many dishes each day I very impressive. Our waitress recalled all 9 including appetizers on the spot.

A weird cross between a classy establishment and a bar. The food was okay but expensive. The staff were formal and pleasant. If you want outdoor seating, call ahead and make sure there's no live music as it's too loud no matter where you sit.

Our favorite go to restaurant. Close by, good food, and we always run into people we know.. most times that's a good thing..ha

I came here for a rehearsal dinner and it was an overall very good time. The staff was attentive and service was good. The facilities could of been a bit nicer since they were outdated in a not so good way. The food selected was delicious, especially their desert which was a Oreo based pie. I cannot attest to the view since it was night time but I would definitely recommend this place.

We visited Lakeview house for HV Restaurant Week. The food and service were great. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

I enjoy coming to the lake view house. The mixed drinks are yummy. For dinner I had the veal special. It was a procuitto, mozzarella, and leek stuffed veal. It was amazing. The service is a little slow but worth the wait. Our favorite server here is Travis.

Nice atmosphere. Many at our table liked their meal. Not a place for steak. Med-rare was well done,. Cooked on grill, no seasonings added. Thick cut, but incredibly bland. Butter, fresh rosemary, a pinch of sea salt, and cooked less than well-done would make these a hit. It seems few chef's at restaurant's understand how to cook steak anymore, so wasn't surprised. Don't stay away, order something else. Hats off to bartender.

Rotten and moldy tomatoes in our salad. No apology whatsoever from the owner. She actually seemed annoyed we wanted a new one when she was shown the the dishes

Great food and atmosphere. Beautiful views of Orange Lake. Gorgeous sunset. Outdoor patio. Reservations highly recommended. Braised short ribs a favorite. Loved the salmon, New York strip looked good, fresh bread, Bliss potatoes were yummy. Desserts delicious.

Trying to do a nice thing for our mothers birthday we decided to visit the Lakeview House that she had heard such nice things about. Well aside a small and noisy space with very limited vegetarian/vegan option it was honestly the waitress that made the whole experience awful. She was rude from the started with a couple sprinkles of "nice" in-between. We ACCIDENTALLY shorted the tip by maybe $10 and she followed us out to the parking lot, knocked on our car window and gave us a snippy attitude even though we apologized and gave her the money. If you are given a bad tip wether purposefully or accidentally like in our case you should just bite your tongue and move on with your night. How embarrassing that you felt the need to chase us out into the parking lot to get more money out of us.

Food is consistently excellent here. Sat out on the covered deck with a view of beautiful Orange Lake. We were properly social distanced from other tables. The staff is friendly and efficient.
